Lauren Corcoran Emrich

Vocal Director

Choral Director at MAHS, professional voice teacher, accomplished Pittsburgh vocalist, and proud 2009 Moon Area alumna. Lauren has had the privilege of working with many talented voice students during her private teaching career. Her students have participated in various competitions and programs including the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Student Auditions, PMEA District/Region/State/All East Festivals, Jr. Mendelssohn Choir, and various Pittsburgh musical theater programs. An active performer, Lauren has been a professional core member of the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh, and her favorite roles include Lady Macbeth (Verdi's Macbeth), Ivy Smith (On the Town), Musetta (La Bohème), and Rosalinda (Die Fledermaus). Lauren holds a Master of Music in voice performance from The University of Akron and a Bachelor of Music in music education from Youngstown State University.
